Send Martin Tower to Mars!™ is published by Lightly-Salted Productions, LLC. This policy covers the Android, desktop, and browser versions of the game, the public leaderboard service, and this website.

Information the game sends

Online leaderboard features send the player-entered display name; the final mission score; the game build version and platform (web, android, or desktop-*); and a randomly generated per-install identifier. That identifier is not tied to a store account, advertising identifier, hardware identifier, or real-world identity — it exists so the service can mark your own row on a fetched board.

The game also sends a display name on its own for a moderation check, so that a rejected name is reported while you can still change it. Offline play remains fully available when the service cannot be reached; the leaderboard is the only feature that needs the network.

Operational information

The service processes IP address and User-Agent for rate limiting, security, and abuse moderation. The score database stores keyed, truncated hashes of those values instead of the raw values. Hosting logs may temporarily contain ordinary request metadata. Short-lived one-time tickets prevent score replay and are eligible for automatic cleanup after use or expiration.

Public information

Leaderboard display names and scores are public. Do not use personal information as a display name. Installation identifiers, platform data, build versions, request hashes, and moderation notes are not public.

This website

The site loads web fonts from Google Fonts and a shared stylesheet and navigation script from assets.lightly-salted.com and lightly-salted.com, which may process normal request metadata under their operators' terms.

There is no analytics on this site, no advertising, no mailing list, and no tracking cookies. The browser version of the game stores your settings and saved progress locally in your own browser (IndexedDB); that data stays on your device and is never transmitted.

Data stored on your device

All versions keep a single local save file holding your best score, display name, install identifier, and audio/video options. On desktop it lives in your user data directory, on Android in the app's private storage, and in the browser in local storage. Uninstalling the game, or clearing site data in the browser, removes it.

Retention and deletion

Leaderboard submissions remain until they are removed for moderation or in response to a verified request. Operational hosting logs are retained according to the hosting provider's normal security and backup schedules.

To request access, correction, hiding, or permanent deletion of a leaderboard entry, email support@lightly-salted.com. Include enough information to identify the relevant display name and score.

Children

Send Martin Tower to Mars! is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. The game contains no advertising and no in-app purchases.

Sharing and sales

We do not sell personal information and do not share leaderboard information with advertising networks. Information may be processed by store platforms, hosting providers, and network infrastructure as necessary to distribute the game and operate its website and leaderboard.

Security

The game uses HTTPS with certificate validation for leaderboard traffic. Access to non-public leaderboard data and moderation tools is restricted to operators. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
